Cass Clinic is a free medical clinic established for the
medically underserved in the city of Detroit. It is run by Dr. George Costea, Dr. Robert Sherwin, and
the medical students of Wayne State University. The clinic functions
almost entirely on donations, so we are very enthusiastic of any help we receive.
Donations of all things medical are graciously accepted, as well as personal
hygiene items. There are a number of ways we can arrange an exchange of
donations:
1) If you are located near the School of Medicine, you can simply drop off the
donation in the Student Affairs office to the attention of Tracey Eady and note
that it is a donation for Cass Clinic. The address is:
Wayne State University School of Medicine
Office of Student Affairs
1369 Scott Hall
540 E. Canfield
Detroit, MI 48201
P. (313) 577-1463
When you make your way into Scott Hall, just let the security guard know you are
dropping off a donation to the Student Affairs office for Cass Clinic and she
will tell you where to go.
2) If you would like to arrange for one of the Co-Coordinators to pick up the
supplies from your office/residence in the greater Detroit area, please simply
email
Ashlee Krisko to arrange a time and place for the
exchange.
3) If you would like to ship the donation, simply send the package to the above
address. Be sure to send it to the attention of Tracey Eady, and also note that
it is a donation for Cass Clinic.
Again, on behalf of all that are associated with Cass Clinic, thank you very
much for your interest in supporting us!
Sincerely,
Cass Clinic Co-Coordinators
