Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows^® operating system is a must!

PowerPoint^®: This class starts with the basics on how to insert text, graphics, movies and sound clips. You will get tips on what is the most effective layout of your slides. Later on you will learn the simple steps to animate and do transitions from slide to slide, and a few fun techniques.

Posters in PowerPoint^®:
This is a step-by-step class guiding you how to insert text and graphs into your scientific posters to create a “large format poster”.

Beginning Photoshop^®: This is an introductory “hands-on” workshop that explains the basics of the tools palette. You will also learn how to crop an image, adjust the levels and add text.

Advanced Photoshop^®: This workshop is for the more experienced user, demonstrates how to enhance your photos and get the best of the images you scan.

Each class requires a $25 fee. To register for one of these classes, come to or contact our office in Room 1367 Scott Hall. You may pay by Cash, Personal Check or IRB. Upon receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation to attend the class.
