PowerPoint® Poster Creation
go back

Determine your PAGE SIZE!  There a maximum size limitation: PowerPoint® allows a maximum page size of 56 inches.

If you need your poster larger than 56 inches we recommend creating it at ½ the size. We will print for you at 200%

FOR EXAMPLE:
3” x 6” page setup = 18” height x 36” width
3” x 7” page setup = 18” height x 42” width
4” x 6” page setup = 24” height x 36” width
4” x 8” page setup = 24” height x 48” width

Now change the Page Setup
Under File, select “Page Setup”.
In this dialogue window, change the drop-down list where “On-Screen Show” to “Custom”
Change the width and height size to what you need.

Click “OK”

Now you can start adding the items you want to be in your poster.  DO NOT - “Copy” and “Paste” images directly from other programs!  This could cause printing problems with your images!

Use the “Insert” function- and insert the original image.  Add as much color as you wish. It will look pretty much the same as what you see in your file! The Support and Downloads page has more information on PowerPoint.
