The Medical Education Support Group promotes excellence in medical education by offering a one-stop support center assisting faculty and students with the development and use of computer-based instructional technology. These highly motivated professionals work together to ensure the curriculum keeps pace with appropriate uses of technology and provide one-on-one consultation with faculty and staff to ease the transition.   In addition drop in support for students is encouraged in order to increase their skills and foster independence in the use of innovative tools to better their educational experience.

Consultation with our staff may include assisting the faculty in determining instructional goals, deciding the appropriate design models, and development of suitable technology to actively engage our learners.   This group will then transform the project into  sophisticated, interactive learning modules to be delivered to students on the SOM’s instructional web site or uploaded to WSU’s Blackboard Learning System.
