At this time, Graduate Research Assistantships are funded by the IBS program to the extent of 100% for the first two years and 50% for the third and fourth years. Additional support in the third, fourth and subsequent years is provided by the student’s research advisor or by the School of Medicine.

Supplemental Financial Aid

Several sources of significant supplemental financial aid are available to exceptional applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. For example, an applicant presenting a grade point average of 3.75 of better and an outstanding GRE score is eligible to receive a stipend supplement of $5,000, thereby bringing their first-year stipend to $24,500.
