KODALITH ORTHO FILM
Use:
high contrast film especially for line drawings, graphs
& tables. Use negative as slide with black background and white lines.
Exposure:
Using Dr. Schneck's Minolta camera and copy stand, set
ASA to 12, depth of field to F8, turn out overhead lights and close
door. Expose film for 1-3 sec (Paul's last contribution to the lab,
8/87). Note: increase exposure time for darker background (white on
original) -if too long lines (black on original) will start to fade.
Development:
Development; Make stock solutions of Kodak Ortho Developer
Parts A and B. Mix equal parts -about 450 ml total for a 2-reel tank.
Develop 2.5 min. at 20 degrees C., wash briefly with water (2-3X), fix
5 min. with Kodak Fixer, wash 5 min. in running tap water, Hypoclear
= 2 min., wash = 5 min., Photoflo = 30 sec., dry (see back)
Stock solutions:
A = 18.2 g/100 ml water
B = 17.8 g/100 ml water
