ACTION COMMITTEE (GHAC)

All first and second year
medical students are welcome to share their ideas. Our chapter is also
looking for anyone interested in becoming a co-chair with Robert for the
upcoming school year.
Planned/Upcoming Events
Global Health Week
We will have speakers
coming in around the last week of November to talk about a wide range of
healthcare related topics pertaining to global health. This week is
also an option for those seeking co-curricular credit for a weeklong
seminar.
This project is being

Red Ribbon Sale for World AIDS
Day
Each year we do a red
ribbon sale and will be donating the proceeds to an HIV/AIDS related
charity organization (TBA).
Letter Writing
Periodically throughout
the school year we will try to have 2 or 3 letter writing campaigns,
usually located in the cafeteria (TBA).
