MD Program
The undergraduate program in medicine consists of a two-year core curriculum of basic medical science including normal and abnormal human biology, a year of clinical clerkships, and a year of clinical electives.

MD/PhD Programs
Our MD/PhD program combines outstanding basic science training with state-of-the-art clinical medicine to train individuals as physician-scientists excelling in careers in research and education.
BMS, MPH, PhD, MS
The primary objective of the biomedical graduate training programs in the School of Medicine is to prepare individuals for careers in research and teaching in medical or health related sciences.
MD/BS Program
This is a unique bachelor of science/medical degree program for a limited number of students from Wayne State University's Honors Program, the School of Medicine, the Michigan Technological University (MTU) and Northern Michigan University (NMU).
Continuing Medical Education
The goal of the school's Continuing Medical Education Program is to deliver high quality education activities for practicing physicians to reinforce their past learning and to disseminate new concepts in medicine which may improve patient care for all medical specialties.
Graduate Medical Education
Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center have a long-standing reputation as a premier center for clinical training programs. The University offers training in virtually every medical specialty and sub-specialty area.
