Henry Ford Hospital is a 903-bed tertiary care hospital, education and research complex located in Detroit's New Center area. The hospital is the flagship of Henry Ford Health System – one of the largest health systems in the world. Annually there are over 30,000 admissions to the hospital and 2.5 million patient visits to our clinics in South East Michigan. Henry Ford Hospital is listed in "Best Hospitals in America".

Undergraduate Medical Education
The hospital’s Graduate Medical Education program of over 600 house staff in 20 residency training programs and 30 fellowships places us among the largest teaching hospitals in the State. We provide core clerkship, clinical electives and other progra s for approximately 500 medical students from many US medical schools including our major affiliate Wayne State University School of Medicine.

 Henry Ford Hospital is staffed with a full-time academic faculty of 900 physicians and scientists from the Henry Ford Medical Group, one of the nation's largest and most experienced multi-disciplinary group practices. The faculty and staff at Henry Ford Hospital are strongly committed to the education of medical students and residents.
The hospital is located on West Grand Boulevard, just west of the Lodge Freeway and only 10 minutes drive from the Wayne State Medical School campus.
