The Year 2 Curriculum is primarily devoted to understanding the effect of disease processes on organ structure and function and the actions of drugs. For 2006-2007, this curriculum will consist of:

  • Disciplinary courses, i.e., Immunology/Microbiology/Infectious Disease, Pathology, Psychiatry, Pharmacology
  • An interdisciplinary course, Pathophysiology, with 10 units, i.e., Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Renal, Endocrinology, Connective Tissue, Dermatology, Hematology, Gastrointestinal, Neurology, and an Integrative Unit
