Career evening helps students explore options
One hundred Year I, II and III students participated in the second annual Alumni-Student Career Evening, hosted by the Medical Alumni Association. Sixteen alumni from various specialties offered perspectives on their fields of expertise, helping students get a feel for different areas of medicine. Students rotated through three informal sessions where they discussed specialties, residency programs, and professional, personal and career issues with School of Medicine alumni. A casual reception followed the sessions, allowing alumni and students to interact one-on-one. The program will continue annually, thanks to positive responses from all participants. Many thanks to the following alums who participated: Drs. Jason Bodzin, Gary Chodoroff, David Decker, Thomas Ditkoff, Gary Gustafson, John Kelly, Jane Krasnick, Craig Lash, Robert Peleman, Sheila Ray, Earl Rudner, Michael Sandler, Marilyn Sultana, Nancy Valentini, Andy Wilson and Marcus Zervos.
