Friends donate stained glass window

In celebration of their 25th anniversary in 1997, the Friends of Wayne presented the School of Medicine with a stained glass window to be displayed in Scott Hall. The window is located in the Meditative Epicenter (2202 Scott Hall).

The Friends said the window provides Wayne State medical students, faculty and staff with a serene atmosphere for quiet and thoughtful introspection. Artist Dee Dee Hoopingarner created the 10 by 12-foot window, which serves the initial purpose of the Friends organization: to stimulate, support and encourage activities which are helpful to the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
