The following individuals have joined the Alumni Association Board:
J. Patrick Quigley, MD, 63, is currently in private pediatric practice at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, where he served as chief of pediatrics for 17 years. Dr. Quigley also served as chief of pediatrics and oversaw the pediatric residency program at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac in the early 1970's. He has sat on numerous committees at William Beaumont Hospitals, both Troy and Royal Oak.
Daniel Ryan, MD, 89, is the medical director of the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Detroit Riverview Hospital and of the Macomb Hospital Center Sports Medicine Program, where he also serves as team physician for several local high schools. After completing his residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Dr. Ryan entered private group practice. A member of numerous professional societies, Dr. Ryan was recently elected vice president of the Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a clinical assistant professor at the School of Medicine.
Sheila Ray, MD, 87, is an otolaryngologist in private practice at Henry Ford-Wyandotte Hospital and Oakwood Hospital-Seaway Center. She completed her training at Henry Ford Hospital in 1992. Dr. Ray is an active member of the Michigan Otolaryngological Society and the Medical Alumni Association.
Thomas Ditkoff, MD, 71, is a specialist in orthopaedic surgery with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. After completing residency training at William Beaumont Hospital and a fellowship at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, he returned to practice in the Detroit area. He is currently in a private group affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr. Ditkoff has been Class Agent for the class of 1971 since graduation and is a member of the American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Orthopaedic Society and the Medical School Alumni Association.
