This year’s Wayne State University Minority
Programs Research Day awarded seven students for excellence in biomedical
research. Graduate and undergraduate students made poster presentations
and showcased their research projects at the School of Medicine. This
annual competition is supported and sponsored by the Initiative for
Minority Student Development and the Minority Biomedical Research Support
