The Wayne
State University Physician Group is sponsoring a new radio program,
“The Medical Hour,” on WJR-AM 760. The live
show airs at 2 p.m. Sundays. University physicians and other guests
discuss medical and health topics of timely interest with WJR listeners.
Dr. Tara
Washington, WSU assistant professor of radiation oncology and clinical
chief of radiation oncology at Sinai-Grace Hospital, is the host. She
holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and a medical degree from the University of Michigan. In
addition, she completed an internship program at Henry Ford Hospital and
residency training in radiation oncology at Loyola University Medical
