Creating Personal Partnerships

The spirit of forging partnerships is more vibrant than ever before at the School of Medicine. Partnerships with donors and volunteers are shaping not only what is being achieved today, but what will be achieved in the future. This is true because donors and volunteers have the vision to invest in potential. They make investments based upon the expertise, creativity and dedication of faculty and students alike, and, they understand that the investment they make in educating tomorrow’s doctors could yield the ultimate return: the ability to save lives. This report to investors for calendar year 2000 highlights the many donors and volunteers who have become partners with the school through philanthropy or personal involvement. It is a privilege to acknowledge their support in this report.

Across The Generations

You can assure a good start to your successors at the School of Medicine.  Gifts of securities, real-estate, personal property, life insurance, or retirement plans or gifts from trusts or as bequest-all help those who follow us begin with assurance.  Whether you choose to:

  • endow a chair or professorship, fellowship or lectureship, faculty or student award;
  • underwrite research or sponsor an outreach program;

  • name a building or create a fund for special needs; or,

  • do some other wonderful thing for the next generations

Your thoughtful planning now may help assure the continuing growth and improvement of the School of Medicine as we pass the baton to the next generation.
