Special Programs
Welcome to the Special Programs web page of Wayne State University School of Medicine. You will find information about three programs that we offer in addition to the Regular MD Program.
Those programs are:
Early Decision Program - Designed for those applicants who 1st choice is the WSU School of Medicine for their MD education and who meet the minimum requirements.
MedStart Program - A unique bachelor of science/medical degree program. This is an 8 year program for 20 students from Wayne State University, Northern Michigan University and Michigan Technological University.
MD/PhD Program - Designed for those applicants who have a strong interest in combining their medical education with research and a PhD education.
Transfer Program - Designed for students who are currently enrolled at other US or Canadian allopathic medical schools who wish to transfer into the Wayne State University School of Medicine. |
